Warsaw, 1928The Wedding
He married Chaya Mushka, daughter of the previous Rebbe, at the Tomchei Temimim yeshiva in Warsaw.
Berlin, 1928 to 1933Between Two Worlds
In the great city he attended university lectures in mathematics, physics and philosophy, and went on studying Torah alongside them.
Paris, 1933A Young Engineer
As the Nazis rose to power he left Berlin with his wife. In Paris he studied electrical engineering, until the war forced them to flee once more.
